Here in Estes Park, your adventure starts with us at Estes Park ATV Rentals, with our unguided excursions through the back country of the Rocky Mountains. We provide worry free ATV and UTV rentals in Colorado. What’s the difference between ATV and UTV? While an UTV and an ATV share many things in common, they are also very different vehicles and are intended for different thigns. Today we’ll go into more detail so you’ll know which one is truly right for you.
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) is an off-road intended for use as a recreational, single-rider, racer, or transportation over rough terrain vehicle. On the other hand, while a utility task vehicle (UTV) is also intended for rough terrain, UTVs are also known as side-by-sides because it has a cab that allows two people to sit next to each other in it.
There’s differences between the steering in an ATV and UTV, too. While you’re driving an ATV, you will steer using a handlebar system, but with an UTV, you will be steering using a steering wheel system. Think of an UTV steering system as that of a car or truck.
